In honor of BAPE®'s milestone 30th anniversary, the brand has embarked on an impressive series of collaborations this year, receiving an overwhelmingly positive response.
Of late, BAPE® has forged another partnership with its long-standing ally, adidas Originals, launching a uniquely collaborative design. How do you rate this creation?
For this special venture, the two brands chose the classic Stan Smith sneaker as the design template, making every effort to keep the original form intact. In an intriguing twist, the latest product features the iconic BAPE® camouflage motif embossed on the upper part of the shoe, resulting in a design that's both minimalist and standout. Attention to detail is paramount; besides maintaining the trademark tongue logo, modifications have been made to the buckle and heel in line with BAPE® style. This enhances the perceivable collaborative influence in the design.
In addition to the primary white model, there's also a black variant available in the new ensemble.
In my personal opinion, the black edition is the standout item from the new range, its glossy leather material combined with golden highlights gives it a distinctive luxurious appeal.
Considering pairing prospects, thanks to the traditional Stan Smith silhouette, these new sneakers can seamlessly match any type of trousers. In terms of my own purchasing preferences for sneakers, I tend to opt for the more cost-effective Fake shoes.
